Cold spray zinc coating, also called galvanized coating, is a single-component product composed of ultra-fine zinc powder, resin and volatile solvent treated by atomic method. Among them, the zinc content of the coating is as high as 96%, the purity of the zinc powder is above 99.99%, and the particle size of the zinc powder is 3-6μm, which creates the excellent corrosion resistance of the cold spray zinc paint coating on the steel. The cold spray zinc coating method is a material protection technology in which zinc powder is coated on the surface of the substrate. It is a new anti-corrosion process that can achieve the anti-rust effect of hot-dip galvanizing under natural conditions at room temperature. Its anti-corrosion principle is the same as that of hot-dip galvanizing, which has dual functions of cathodic protection and barrier protection.
Zinc coating. Zinc-containing coatings are easy to apply and are generally used as primers to achieve 15-30 years of long-lasting, heavy-duty anti-corrosion effects. The zinc-containing coating can include epoxy zinc-rich primer formed by organic resin film, inorganic zinc silicate primer formed by nano silica sol film, and cold spray zinc primer formed by other resin film. Based on environmental protection requirements and other functional requirements, water-based epoxy zinc-rich primer, inorganic zinc silicate primer (solvent-based inorganic zinc silicate primer and water-based inorganic zinc silicate primer), water-based anti-slip inorganic anti-rust Anti-slip coatings and water-based inorganic zinc silicate workshop primers have appeared one after another.
Hot-dip galvanizing and cold-dip galvanizing use pure zinc, and hot-dip galvanizing use pure zinc wire or 75% zinc wire and 25% aluminum wire. Among zinc-containing coatings, cold spray zinc contains the highest zinc content, with a metal zinc content of more than 92% and a total zinc content of more than 96%; inorganic zinc-rich primers and epoxy zinc-rich primers generally contain 60-85 zinc %, the zinc content of solvent-based and water-based inorganic zinc silicate workshop primer is lower, about 30%.
