On July 10 and 11, CRRC 2019 locomotive enterprise water-based paint application site meeting was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi. At the meeting, Wei Yan, member of the Standing Committee of CRRC's Party Committee and deputy general manager of the group, gave a speech entitled "Learning and Learning, Quickly Promoting the Use of Water-based Coatings, and Making New Contributions to the Battle of the Blue Sky".
Wei Yan pointed out that CRRC Group held a field meeting on the use of waterborne paints for truck companies in Shenyang last year and signed a letter of responsibility to use waterborne paints as a classic battle to achieve pollution control from end-of-life control to source control. Up to now, truck companies have achieved more than 70% water-based paint use, achieved good results, and really played a pioneering role. The on-site meeting on the use of waterborne coatings for locomotive companies held in Taiyuan today is another important battle to win the battle to defend the blue sky.
At the meeting, CRRC Taiyuan Company and CRRC Qiche Group respectively reported on the use of water-based coatings and their promotion and use experience; CRRC Coating Expert Group and Waterborne Coatings Standards Compilation Group respectively introduced the use of water-based coatings on products, technology and environmental protection. Impact and CRRC waterborne paint standards; CRRC Zhuji Machinery Company, CRRC Dalian Company, CRRC Qishuyan Company made reports on the usage of waterborne coatings.
In response to the comprehensive realization of the objectives of the "Three-Year Action Plan for Ecological Protection and Pollution Prevention of CRRC", Wei Yan made three suggestions: 1. Recognize the situation, unify the thinking, and deeply understand the importance of the use of water-based coatings; 2. Learn from experience, share results with each other, and work together to quickly advance the use of water-based paint; 3. Set goals and work hard to ensure that the task of using water-based paint is fully completed.
